This Privacy Policy explains how Nunu Orbit (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Nunu Orbit mobile application and related services (the “Service”).
Nunu Orbit is a parental / caregiver app. It is not directed at children as end users. Accounts are created and managed by adults.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account information — email address and authentication credentials (passwords are stored only in hashed form).
- Baby profile information you provide — such as baby name, birth date, and/or due date.
- Progress and app activity — milestones, leap-related progress, preferences, and similar content you enter or generate while using the app.
- Technical data — device type, OS version, app version, language settings, and basic diagnostics needed to operate and improve the Service.
- Support communications — messages you send to support@nunuorbit.app (TODO: confirm email).
We do not require payment card details to be stored in the app for the MVP. If subscriptions are offered later via Apple or Google, those platforms process payments under their own policies.
2. How we use information
- Create and manage your account and baby profiles.
- Provide leap tracking, progress views, and in-app guidance.
- Send transactional messages (e.g. password reset).
- Respond to support requests and improve reliability and safety.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing
We may share information only with:
- Service providers who help us host, email, analyze, or operate the Service, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this Policy or equivalent protections.
4. Data retention
We retain account and profile data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for backups, dispute resolution, security, and legal compliance. You may request deletion (see below).
5. Your choices
- Update or delete baby profile details from within the app (where available).
- Delete your account via the in-app flow described on our Delete account page.
- Contact us at support@nunuorbit.app for access, correction, or deletion requests.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and protect your device.
7. Children
The Service is intended for adults (parents/caregivers). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children for their own accounts. Baby-related data is provided by the adult account holder.
8. International users
If you use Nunu Orbit from outside the country where we host data, your information may be processed in other jurisdictions with different data protection laws. We take steps appropriate for an MVP product to safeguard that processing.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
